First Nations educational and cultural centre established to present and preserve the history, language and cultural heritage of the Anishinaabe and Onkwehon:we

  • museum collection includes 26,000 artifacts including documents, contemporary paintings, and crafts
  • research library, which includes contemporary books and current issues, First Nations periodicals, the Royal Commission Report on Indigenous Peoples documents, general anthropology, and information about residential schools
  • tours of the Museum and the former residential school for groups large and small
  • workshops available
