Description (Service) Strive to be a leader in finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis and enabling those people affected by Multiple Sclerosis to enhance their quality of life 
Research is multi-faceted but with clear purpose:  
* to find a cure for MS  
* protect the nervous system and repair damage caused by MS 
* improve monitoring and management of the disease. 
Offers funding for equipment purchase and permanent loan as well as special assistance programs. The goal in providing these programs is to help individuals maintain an independent lifestyle 
The MS Society of Canada does not offer financial assistance for medications or disease modifying therapies, however, for information on funding programs for medication / therapies, visit:
