All staff (Counselling, Psychogeriatric Resource Consultants, Intensive Case Management, Public Education Coordinators) are available and are providing support to clients and partners via phone, teleconference and videoconference.

Description (Service) Supports for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and their caregivers 
 
  • Seminars, workshops and training sessions - one-on-one care plan consultations with health professionals and advanced care planning for future health care needs 
  • First Link - networking for people affected by Alzheimer's disease or related dementia, to a community of learning, services and support , one-on-one counselling, caregiver support groups, referral to community resources by phone, drop-in, or home visit. First Link Learning Series offered regularly in various locations 
  • Education Programs and Resources - Education, awareness programs, and resources for the general public and health care providers on Alzheimer's disease 
  • Support Groups and Programs - Support groups and programs for people with dementia, and their family members and friends 
  • Learning Ropes - Program for people with mild cognitive impairment
