  • Saturday Day Program - 9 am-3 pm
  • Afternoon Program - Mon-Fri 12 noon-6 pm
Areas Served Brant County ; Brantford
Eligibility Persons over the age of 18 with an Ontario Health Card, are able to weight bear (need to be able to transfer independently or with the minimal assistance of one person), have a primary or secondary diagnosis of dementia which includes Alzheimer's Disease or other types of dementia resulting in memory problems

Description

Description (Service)

Wellness Centre for seniors with memory problems or dementia. Owned and operated by the City of Brantford and the County of Brant, housed in the John Noble Home with separate entrance on the south end of the building

  • area is designed and built for persons with dementia/memory loss and projects a home-like environment
  • socialization and recreation is provided through activities, and therapeutic recreation programs within a secure environment
  • weekend overnight stay programs are offered. semi-private rooms available


Programs include:

  • Day Program - lunch, snacks and program supplies included. Therapeutic and Montessori programs for individuals with dementia and memory issues
  • Afternoon Program - supper, snacks and program supplies included. Therapeutic and Montessori programs for individuals with dementia and memory issues
  • Overnight Stay Program - all meals, snacks and program supplies included. Therapeutic and Montessori programs for individuals with dementia and memory loss
  • Saturday Day Program - lunch, snacks and program supplies included. Therapeutic and Montessori programs for individuals with dementia and memory issues
