Description
Description (Service) Interpretive Centre 
 
Offering: 
* summer months - an interpreter will guide through displays and exhibits and explain the history of Canada's First Forestry Station * self-guided path with interpretive panels 
* off-season - a guide will meet visitors with an appointment to view old photos of early conservation work in Southern Ontario  
 
Rooms display early nursery artifacts used in the early years of the station * building has been declared a heritage building and features chestnut ceilings, pine walls, and maple flooring * Carolinian Tree Species are illustrated * public picnic area on site 
 
New exhibit for Canada150 is "Sawmills of yesteryear - a cut in time"
