- married couple without dependants with combined income of $40,000 or less
- single adult, with dependants with income of $35,000 or less (plus $2,500 per dependant)
- individual with less than $1,000 income
Excludes:
- those with self-employment expenses, business or rental/expenses
- self-employed
- returns for deceased persons
- returns for claiming capital gains/losses
- those with major investments (RRSP, stocks, mutual funds etc)
- those who have filed for bankruptcy
