Description (Service) | Support for families/caregivers from pregnancy to school entry on topics such as pregnancy, birth, baby care, breastfeeding/infant feeding, nutrition, safety, parenting strategies, other community services, and much more! Services include:
One-on-One Healthy Growth and Development Support by a Public Health Nurse – telephone or in-person support available to all families/caregivers of babies, to provide support on infant feeding, parenting strategies, community services and resources Prenatal Classes – The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit offers a combination of in-person and online prenatal classes. To register for in-person classes call 519-426-6170 or 905-318-6623 ext. 3250. To register for the online prenatal program go to https://www.hnhu.org/prenatalclasses Well Baby & Breastfeeding Drop-in – A free program for families and caregivers of infants and toddlers. Drop-ins are provided in partnership with EarlyON Child and Family Centres across Haldimand and Norfolk counties. Speak to a Public Health Nurse about infant feeding, nutrition, parenting strategies, and community supports and resources |
