Description (Service)

Summer Camps offered in Caledonia, Cayuga, Dunnville, Hagersville, and Jarvis

  • provide a wide range of activities and opportunities for children and youth to engage in play, build relationships, explore their interests, and develop new skills
  • weekly themed activities, a camp trip and various community visits
  • various recreational activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and social interaction
  • camp staff are certified in Standard First Aid and CPR C, HIGH 5 Principles of Childhood Development and Safeguard in order to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all campers
  • camp ratio: 1 staff to every 8 campers  
  • inclusion opportunities
    • camp programs provide an inclusive environment and welcome external support persons (preapproval required)
    • limited amount of Inclusion Counsellors for summer camps for participants who require additional assistance, limitations apply
    • inclusion support counselors are assigned according to need and availability
    • applications to receive an inclusion counsellor are considered in the order received
