Description

Description (Service)

Jordan's Principle is a child-first initiative that ensures substantive equality and equitable access to services for First Nations children and youth. Jordan's Principle Navigators are available to support families with the application process and coordinate supports after approval.

  • funding is needs-based, and therefore a request requires information on the unmet need and/or service gap along with a third party recommendation for a product or service that meets the need and/or fills the gap in service
  • children do not require a diagnosis to access this funding
  • Navigators will work with the family to obtain the necessary documentation for their funding request
