Description (Service)

Museum and heritage centre that collects, exhibits, interprets, researches, conserves and documents the material and cultural heritage of Delhi and district

Museum features:

  • streetscape comprised of buildings from the Victorian era which include a Tobacconist Shop, Forestville General Store, Tavern
  • mural depicting the Immigrants' Journey to the area
  • multicultural heritage displays
  • ginseng display
  • tobacco-related machinery
  • advertising and exhibits on tobacco's role in Canada from as early as the 18th century to the present
  • Delhi souvenirs and art of the local artist community available for sale
  • seasonal items at the Forestville General Store and Teeterville House Gift Shops
