The 800-acre area is a mix of marshes and upland and is recognized as part of the overall Big Creek-Long Point Marsh System, a wetland of international significance

Waterfowl and upland hunting opportunities are available and must be reserved in advance by calling Marsh Manager

The Management Committee coordinates the Leighton & Betty Brown Conservation Scholarship awarded annually to a graduating high school student
