Organization that advances the understanding, appreciation, and conservation of wild birds and their habitats

Programs partner the skills, enthusiasm, and support of members, volunteers, and the public with the scientific expertise of Birds Canada staff

Canada's national charity for bird research, conservation, education, and Citizen Science

Organization oversees many volunteer Citizen Science programs across Canada such as:

  • Project FeederWatch
  • Christmas Bird Count
  • breeding bird atlases
  • locally, operate the Long Point Bird Observatory
  • walking trails at the Headquarters open to the public
  • events room and boardroom rentals for events and meetings
