Formerly named the Brantford Church Hockey League (BCHL), it was established in 1964 by the Kinsmen Club of Brantford.  The league officially dropped "Church" from its name in 2020 to become Brantford Community Hockey League

Different divisions have different practice/game schedules - see website for specific details

  • all practices are during the week and all games are on Saturdays
  • only Select teams, Take A Shot and U21 Recreational teams play on Sundays

Description (Service)

Community hockey league offering a positive, inclusive, and development-focused hockey experience for children and families.  The league helps players build confidence, learn teamwork, develop life skills, and form lasting friendships both on and off the ice

Divisions:

  • Mini Saints - Learn to Skate - 3 years old
  • Little Saints - Learn to Skate and Play - 4-7 year olds
  • U7 - 5-6 year olds
  • U9 - 6-7 year olds
  • U11 - 9-10 year olds
  • U13 - 11-12 year olds
  • U15 - 13-14 year olds
  • U16 - 15 year olds
  • U18/U21 - 16-20 year olds
  • Take A Shot Hockey - free learn to skate and learn to play program with full equipment included for any child 8-12 years old who has never played hockey previously. This is a no-obligation, fully funded program that allows children to try the sport of hockey at no cost to the participant for 20 hours of on-ice skills and development with the option to transition into mainstream programming if they choose
  • Select Hockey (bridge between house league and Rep hockey) is offered in the following divisions:
    • U9
    • U11
    • U13
    • U15
    • U18
