Non-profit organization sanctioned by Skate Canada. Programs are instructed by NCCP Certified Professional Skate Canada Coaches
Programs Offered:
Canskate, Teen Skate & Adult Skate - learn-to-skate programs focus on fun, participation and skill development. Skaters progress at their own pace using a nationally-tested and proven curriculum and delivery methods. Ribbons and badges are used to benchmark skaters' progress and reward effort and participation in CanSkate program
STAR Skate - offers opportunities for skaters to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skills, free skate and artistic skating
Volunteer Opportunities:
High School volunteer hours - earn 40 hours in a season - on/off ice positions available
Board of Directors - make a difference in your community - commitment 4-6 meetings/season
