Service club aimed at encouraging the development of youth 
 
Club is responsible for the Optimist Park in Scotland, Ontario * Park includes a baseball diamond with lights, soccer field, playground, concession stand, paved walking path, hummingbird/butterfly amphitheatre and covered pavilion 
 
Pavilion/park/diamond are available for rent (weddings, birthday parties, family reunions) by donation - picnic tables can accommodate up to 200 people. Washrooms, pavillion access to lights/hydro
