Description

Description (Service)

Providing individual and group counselling to individuals who have used or are at risk of using violence in their relationships. The goal is to increase the knowledge, skills, resources and self-awareness of participants in order to develop and maintain healthier self and relationships. The program also offers counselling support to men who have expereinced violence or abuse

The safety of the participants’ partners is monitored through the Partner Check Program

Partner Assault Response Program (PAR) - 12-week group education and counselling program on intimate partner violence and non-abusive ways of resolving conflict. Survivors/partners of the offender provided with support including safety planning, referrals to community resources, and information on offender’s progress

S.C.R.I.B.E - Self, Character, Relationships, Interaction, Boundaries, Esteem; this is a voluntary psycho-educational/therapeutic group for men who are looking for self-improvement and are eager to explore healthy ways to communicate as well as examine their behaviour in relationships

Youth Support- providing intervention and support to youth who have experienced violence and/or are at risk of causing harm. Support can be provided in school or at an agreed location
