| Description (Service) | General Support Services: Guidance, advocacy, support and counselling to Deaf and hard of hearing individuals who need assistance managing everyday life events such as completing government forms, navigating systems, and coping with hearing loss * Includes help with:
Hearing Care Counselling Services Ages 55+: Assists seniors with hearing loss * Services include assessment and support for seniors with hearing loss to develop, maintain, or augment sensory capacity and promote maximum independence * the Hearing Care Counsellor Program includes:
Hearing Care Counselling also provides in-service training to supportive housing, retirement homes and long-term care facilities. |
