Description (Service)

Sexual Assault / Domestic Violence Care Team provides care to survivors to help meet their health, emotional and social needs

Services include:

specialized, specially trained, health care team of nurses
collection of forensic evidence
crisis intervention
documentation and photographs
physical examination and treatment of injuries
testing and prophylaxis for sexually transmitted infections (STI), pregnancy and HIV
referrals to community agencies for counselling
no charge for any services or medication
