Description

Description (Service)

Short-term therapy service for children/youth up to 18 years and their families, who have been identified as having mental health needs

Provides a private space with a Child Clinical therapist for up to 12 sessions of therapeutic conversation

It is a time to build off a Discovery meeting to further explore what is possible, extend what is working, practice ideas and to think about things differently

Modalities can include evidence-informed practices such as but not limited to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Narrative Therapy which can be provided through talk,, play, and expressive arts approaches
