Description

Description (Service)

This office provides probation services to youth who have been charged under the Youth Criminal Justice Act after their 12th birthday but prior to their 18th birthday. Youth charged after their 18th birthday are dealt with by the Probation and Parole office in their community

Youth Justice Services funds agencies such as Haldimand-Norfolk REACH to provide services to assist youth in conflict with the law. REACH coordinates the Extrajudicial Measures, Extrajudicial Sanctions, Community Service Orders and counselling
