• examples of Vulnerable Persons may include: persons with autism, dementia, acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy or a person that may exhibit atypical behaviours e.g. wandering, physical instability, inability to communicate, aggression, irrational fear, oversensitivity to sensory stimulus (sounds, lights, touch)
• vulnerable person must live or attend a program in the City of Brantford

Individuals outside Brantford - check with your local police service to see if they offer a vulnerable persons registry or subscribe to MedicAlert.  Subscription (registration fee plus monthly or yearly fees apply - subsidy information available here ) includes the MedicAlert Connect Protect program, which is a collaboration between MedicAlert and police forces to ensure police officers have direct 24/7 access to important information about people who tend to wander
