Superior Court of Justice - court services respecting civil actions, criminal actions, family actions, small claims court actions and Housing Tribunal enforcement
Ontario Court of Justice - court hearings for applications under the Family Law Act, Children's Law Reform Act, Youth Criminal Justice Act, Criminal Code actions, and other related legislation. Applicant/Creditors may enforce through the Court. Payments of criminal fines. No adult provincial offences are dealt with at this office. Must refer to Norfolk County (re: Highway Traffic Act charges)
Family Law Information Centre - designed for use by unrepresented litigants who need assistance with family law cases as they relate to court processes. A duty counsel lawyer will be available to assist them with any legal concerns. Assistance will also be provided with completing forms. Contact the courthouse to book an appointment
Justice of the Peace - duties include issuing summons, subpoenas, search warrants, swearing criminal code affidavits only and private complaints
Small Claims Court - for plaintiffs with claims up to $25,000
Enforcement Officer or Sheriff - available in Cayuga and Simcoe
