The Outreach Worker is generally available Mon-Fri, located on the first floor of the Main Branch and only available at the Main Branch

  • Drop-in hours - Mon 2 pm-4 pm
  • Application Support Clinic - Tue 2:30 pm-4 pm
  • Community Connections - Fri 2 pm-4 pm

The Social Services Outreach Worker is available to help all residents of the community. Individuals do not have to be a Library member to get help from the Social Services Outreach Worker

  • community resources (food, clothing, showers, mental health, substance abuse)
  • computers (wifi, email, virtual court, job searches)
  • completing applications (ID, healthcare, Service Canada, employment)
  • Care kits (PPE, hygiene, clothes)
  • phone support
  • system navigation and safe space to talk
