2017 rates subject to change. Day Use Rates: Season pass $80; Children $3.50, Adults $8, Seniors $7 with a daily maximum rate $14 or $13 for seniors. Daily maximum rate includes vehicle and occupants.
Overnight, weekly, monthly and seasonal campsite rates available. Campsite reservation fee charged. Campsites may be booked online as of Feb 1 or by calling the park.

|Description (Service)||Conservation area featuring a Heritage Village with 20 historical buildings centreed around the 1798 Backhouse Grist Mill * National Historic Site * Nature Centre, displays and a swimming pool are highlights of the conservation area. Facilities for fishing, picnicking and camping. The Long Point Region Memorial Forest is located at the entrance to the conservation area.
Backus has a full line-up of family events scheduled throughout the year including War of 1812 Re-enactment, Owl Prowls, nature hikes and historical programs. Interpretive programming includes conservation and heritage education programs for schools and youth groups and summer day camp.
Facilities include a swimming pool, 2 picnic pavilions, 160 campsites (105 with hydro hookup), 2 camping cabins and group camping areas.
Rental facilities include picnic pavilions, pioneer church for weddings and the Conservation Education Centre for meetings and conferences.
