Facilitation of career opportunities for people with a developmental disability who are job-seekers

Offering a full range of career services including:

• resume writing
• interview skills
• job search techniques
• skill analysis

Initial on-the-job support is provided to attain the skills necessary to maintain employment. Job counsellors work with people to determine interests, skills, and to encourage educational upgrading where possible. Basic job readiness training is mandatory upon entrance into the service

Job Links works to make connections with youth with developmental disabilities by facilitating a youth summer jobs service and partnering with Grand Erie District School Board and Norfolk General Hospital to run Project Search, a unique school-to-work training program
